We went there during a busy month, August, and the place was lively. We strolled along the alleys of the Central Park where people can enjoy an ice-cream or kurttoskolac. Just before you enter the park, on the right, there's a nice restaurant though we had to wait a little for the food to be served. And if you love hiking, there are different paths you could enjoy. We were advised to follow the red cross path which took us to Obcina Mare where we enjoyed some good food and nice view at Cabana Gigi Ursu. Highly recommend it!CatalinRomania - 8.0Scored 8.0

The scenery is beautiful there of the mountains, go to Domeniul Dornei to relax and unwind. The facilities there excellent with an amazing view ! There is nothing else to do in Vatra Dornei, not really any attractions to visit. Just a nice place to relax.carolina.2017Ireland

It had a nice terrace, great for outside dinning. The third room (a living room) was spacious enough to gather when the weather outside was chilly (specific for the region). The property was equipped with all we needed. Moreover, we could ask the kitchen personnel for a certain equipment which was missing from out kitchen if needed. The view was nice and we enjoyed our time in Vatra Dornei 😊

It is absolutely gorgeous there! I was thinking of staying in the center of town, but once I looked at the views from the windows, I knew I had to stay. Shops and restaurants are in the center of Vatra Dornei, and it is a bit of a far drive. But honestly it was worth it to be in the calm and quiet provided by Doru Muntelui. There were attention to details from the very beginning, having a chimney inside the room, and a bottle of wine in the freezer. The wifi worked perfectly, and the beds were comfy. The surroundings were beautiful and really quiet. You can park your car inside the house. If you are staying near Vatra Dornei, the place is 100% recommended.

Undeground car park a big bonus. Rooms were excellent as was our evening meal in the hotel and breakfast the following morning. The 100 leu allowance for breakfast for two people more than adequate. Staff all very friendly and welcoming.
